MIA is a greek brand based on principals of Slow Production & Conscious Design, inspired from nature and geometry, offering you a piece of applied art in your everyday life!

My inspiration derives from nature and geometry and my very first product was an hexagonal wooden case, hexagon is nature’s beloved shape and the cornerstone of this brand. After the hexagonal wooden case more products are continually born, each of them has its own story of creation but all of them have a common identity, they are following the same design guidelines and are aiming to create a timelessness relationship with user.

In greek language, the word MIA is used in different ways:
1. as a feminine gender pronoun
2. as adjective which means (1) in number
3. as adjective which also means unique.
MIA's purpose is to combine all the above, starting from the feminine power, aiming to create high quality, functional and original products for everyone who wants to feel unique!

Τhe main materials that I use are mainly the wood and the fabric and what makes MIA’s products unique is the combination of various and different fields, more precisely: Applied Arts + CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing) + Craftsmanship!

Begin from a sketch - Create a pattern - Digital print it on fabric - CAD designs, both for fabric & wood - Laser cut them - Paint the pieces of wood - Varnish them to be protected - Assembly the pieces of fabric & wood - TADAAA! MIA's products were just created! - As soon as you have them in your daily routine, you will be forever grateful!
