The Meet Market DJ's
Ah, the djs!… the glorious sound-scapers, whom if not for them, the Meet Market just wouldn’t be the same. Every 2 hours throughout the Meet Market weekend, these eclectic disc jockeys set the tone, make the vibe, score the scene and provide us with non-stop tunes from start till finish, covering a variety of musical genres including electro, hip-hop, soul, funk, jazz, rock and what-ever rare track they find in their symphonic artilleries.
DJ Snatch
DJ Snatch aka Stelios Karavitis is an Athens - based DJ & Radio producer. For 10 years running, he's been hosting a radio show on Radio Pepper 96.6. His reworks have been supported globally by Djs & Radio producers including Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show in legendary BBC Radio 6. He has releases in Sound Of Everything & Beatnik City and shared the stage with Avener ,Guts, Allergies , Buscemi , Moullinex ,Tor, Daddy G , Stereo MC's , Frenic , Cayetano , Boogie Belgique & more. In short, we are honored he shares his grooves with us.

Afrogirl
One of our favorite lady DJs. She's an OG TMM sound-scaper, a true funk soldier and self proclaimed total marxist, Beyond her musical magic, she gets even more creative through printmaking, book binding and baking the most amazing Christmas cookies in the world.

DJK a/k/a Zegas
Father of 3 and one of our favorite faces to see, DJK a/k/a Zegas has created his personal style of DJing, friendly to the dancefloor with tight mixing and broad music styles in between. Check him out on one of his nights at various bars around Athens or at our Meet Market events.

‘Ηχος Ανοχής
‘Ηχος Ανοχής aka Sound Tolerance aka Zacharias Tsamoulos is mysterious, smart and groovy, as are his dj sets when he shares his musical moods with us at our events.

Mr Gee has a smile and a taste in music to light up any room and get it moving.
With a wide range of musical styles in his collection, he can keep up with any crowd, which is one of the many reasons we are happy to have him on our lineup.

Black Athena
Jo and Kostis have been with us since the very first Meet Market. This couple are so deeply immersed in their love and dedication for music that they manage to run a radio show, a record label and a broadcasting company simultaneously... and all while raising their beautiful daughter ever so appropriately named Harmony.

Uncle Neck
Uncle Neck is both a core Meet Market team member and a jockey of the disk. When he is not running around hanging banners, laying down duck-tape, fixing electrics, cutting receipts at the central cash point or inviting visitors to come play our interactive game... he finds time to spin some tunes at the dj booth. Yes, he does it all. And we love him for it.

Winjer
Our friend and soundscaper Winjer is always a pleasure to have at our events. He covers a wide spectrum of genres and sounds, but one thing remains consistent - his ability to read the crowd and make them happy.

Bwana
DJ Bwana is an Athens-based info-rebel. He has been active in DJ sets, book and film translations, unofficial CD compilations, limited edition T-shirts and radio shows. Although he has lost his faith even in nihilism, he maintains an unhealthy interest for various subjects - and we love him for it.

A@H20
Born in Marseille, France, Antonis brings a je-ne-sais-quois fabulousness to all his dj sets. Beyond being a selector, he is a also a musical composer and plays guitar, piano and bass while also singing and writing music. He's one of the OG djs at the Meet Market events and we love him dearly for it.

DJ Kiten
DJ Kiten is a hip-hop junkie and a toy designer. She also has a very beautiful smile that everyone stops to admire as she plays her record only sets at our Meet Market events.

Beer brewer, father of 2, refrigerator specialist and music collector, Pareskevas always comes to the Meet Market to keep us up to date with his favorite hip-hop, both new and old. Thing we love most about him - he doesn't give a f&%k...

Music aficionado and all around amazing guy, Christos is truly lost in music. For the last 2 decades, he has been channeling his explorations into DIY publications & events, online radio shows and DJ sets - and we are psyched to be part of his busy schedule.

Every so tall, ever so friendly, and ever so tattooed, George aka Santo has been playing music at the Meet Markets since the very first one. He is undeniably talented at gauging the room and playing just the right tracks to keep the vibe perfect for our markets. A true brotha from anotha motha.

Melik
Melik is not just one of our DJs - he is literally the circuit board of the entire Meet Market. He sets up the sound system, bring the mixer and the decks, and if he's not to busy keeping everything up to scratch, he graces us with one of his sets and his musical presence. Nothing but love for this guy.

Pipi Dee
Meet Market photographer, dj and father of twins, our beloved Thanos aka Pipi Dee is a man of many talents and strengths. Our only Indie DJ, he has built a true following for his 2 hour sets at our events and once he finishes entertaining the crowd, he's off to take photos.

Another member of Muzak-7, Guru-Ni has a many great playlists up his sleeve, and an attitude to match. Always so kind and friendly, we love when he comes to spin tunes at the Meet Market and get his drink on.

We always look forward to Vicky's dj sets because they make your soul sing. Perhaps because she also used to be a maker at our Meet Markets selling her beautiful photography, she just knows what a market sound-track should be.

Mixalis aka DJ Haze plays music that makes you feel like you are on a summer holiday. Perhaps that's why he goes by the name he does... because his sounds and energy wrap you up in an invisible vacation haze of sea and sun.

Vangelis aka Steady Vber is truly a multi-media man. When he's not spinning the creme de la creme of tunes at the occasional Meet Market event, he's off filming the world and captivating the most exquisite images. We've even been fortunate enough to have him film some Meet Market footage.

Breakin Moves
Rusty Brown aka Simion Nomidi's sound could be described as Turkish Psychedelia. He loves to dig for the most obscure of records, and that shows in his soulful, quirky dj sets.

Anthony K
When he's not being a resident dj at ptxathens and pielectronics, and the occasional Meet Market back in the day, Anthony is a photographer. RGTek
RGTek is one of our most OG djs and things haven't been the same since he packed up in search of a calmer life and move to the island of Naxos. How we miss his face, his tunes, his energy and his beautiful creations (because he also used to make jewelry and sell it at our Markets.) One thing is for sure though and that's that there is always a place for him in our markets and our hearts.

Serious Penguin
Thanos aka Serious Penguin is another one of our favorite OG Djs who is no longer living in Athens and we miss him dearly. His mixtapes, djs sets and overall generosity of spirit are irreplaceable, even if he's now in the UK. Thanos, whenever you want to come home, we have a place for your here. Always.

Petit Bear
When Yannis aka Petit Bear hits the decks, you know your in for a session of seamless mixing in Black & Electronic Music. You also know that at some point you are going to start dancing. You also know that at somepoint, he is going to start dancing with you. Find him out in the bars of Athens Greece, or at the occasional Meet Market event.

Giorgos, otherwise known as _Gunderscore, has been djing at the Meet Markets since back in the day. He's a hard-worker and a father, and has a very subtle yet effective way of exerting his musical power.

Yannis has been with us at the Meet Market in various forms since the get-go. When he's not sound-scaping our events from behind the decks, you can find him selling his vintage goods at a Meet Market stall or at his Retro-Design store located in the heart of the city center, ever-so fittingly called Coo.

Camabuca
John Valavanis always seems to be in a good mood and down for a dj set. He's been a vinyl collector from a young age and is a self-taught keyboard player and multi-instrumentalist. Asking him to streamline his favorite musical genres in almost impossible, as you can see below.

Dimitris is a hip-hop head, producer, mixer and compiler of music since 2000. He makes and collects vinyl and tape records. He also travels the world in search of more music. When he's not doing those things, he occasionally stops by and plays a set at the Meet Market, which we are very grateful for.

A true vinyl lover, Kostas has graced the wheels of steel alongside Goldie, Storm, Marcus Intalex, Bailey, Andy C, Spirit, Kenny Ken, Flight, Rohan, Seba, Breakage, Calibre, Macc, IG Culture, Pete Lawrence, Mala, Pinch, Loefah, Shylo and the FT Crew, MC Justyce, Stamina MC, Sgt Pokes, SP:MC and DRS to name but a few… and the occasional set a The Meet Market too.

We always love when George comes for a set because we know we will hear something we have never heard before. A lover of the strange and a collector of the obscure, this guy juggles journalism, fatherhood and soundscaping without breaking a sweat.
