We are first about a meet and them about a market, which is why we make sure to offer a range of activities (and always for free) along side the Meet Market. Depending on our venue, these range from stand-up-comedy to theater to live bands to cd launches from independent producers to workshop and seminars to dance classes to massage to interactive games for kids to live graffiti to free barbeques… just to name a few.

Athens Lindy Hop

The oh-so-talented Athens Lindy Hop visit the Meet Maket sometimes and initiate us all into the groove of swing dancing and teach us all their moves through open air dance classes.

Astrogenesis

The "Astrogenesis" team has visited the Meet Market aiming to introduce us to astronomy through the interactive seminar called: "Journey to the Night Sky", since they strongly believe that understanding and spreading astronomy brings people together.

Batala Atenas

The Batalá Atenas group showcased a unique percussion show at the Meet Market to and got us all in the Brazilian groove! BATALA is an international music band that plays samba reggae, music from Salvador, Bahia, in northeastern Brazil. Today Batala has more than 1,500 percussions (constantly growing) worldwide and a total of 24 bands in 14 countries and 3 continents, bringing authentic Bahia music and culture to the general public.

The Social Yogis Project is based in Petralona, and is a place where you will exercise through yoga, aerial yoga, pilates, modern dance classes combined with massage, acupuncture and interesting workshops and everytime they visit us at The Meet Market they teach us yogaworks arm balances and hatha flow backbends.
