Yes indeed, beat the crowds and avoid the traffic jams, and join us at the stunning venue of Athinaida, where you can find everything and more under one roof, on 2 floors, with over 120 stands of all sorts of innovations and creations from local designers, artists and small scale businesses.

Along side the Meet Market XMAS-extravaganza, we will also be hosting a multitude of free activities and productions for all age groups. All weekend long, in the music stage of Athinais, you can find something entertaining to do, from childrens theatre productions, ornament-making workshops, rap seminars for kids, origami, dance classes for adults in swing, tango and dun dun african dance, and a whole lot more!
Sharing and giving...
This year, the Meet Market is also getting in the season of sharing and giving by cooperating with a very unique charity called globetops. And its not about money donations but about e-donations. That's right, bring your old or extra laptops, no matter how broken they are, and they will be shipped off, fixed and given to someone in need… or if they are beyond salvation, bring them so they can be recycled responsibly. S0, bring your friends, bring your parents, bring your kids, bring your old laptop, or even come alone because there really is something for everyone.

The mobile workshop Panigiraki, headed by the artistic Vasiliki Spyrou invites all children, adolescents and adults to contribute to their own education of visual art, aesthetics, knowledge, expression, creativity, playfulness.
Theatrical Team FREON

The Children’s Performances Cultural Society Freon (member of the Network for the Rights of the Child), will be arising from and for the love, passion and hard work of all actors! They founded the theatrical activity as a means of highlighting their major educational goals. This particular performance will feature live original music, flexible scenography, the silhouettes theater and versatile acting cooperating organically to “bind” our magical theater trips and entertain the younger viewers.

Origami workshop

Storigami group invite all to a workshop full of paper, joy and creativity. Though a humble material, paper will create beautiful and easy decorations for our Christmas tree and our home.
Electra Nega and Basel Vaxevani will introduce us to the art of origami and will show us how in a magical way a piece of paper can be transformed into a tree, star, boat, and much more!

Dun Dun Dance

Come along with Daphne as decomposes rhythmic motifs and phrases from dance dance and musical traditions of West Africa. The result is dancing and playing percussion in absolute synchronization. We dare you!
It Takes 2 to Tango

Eva and Thanassis invite us to a our first lessons of Argentinian Tango. It is a social yet difficult dance, with a strong improvisational character, born in the slums of Buenos Aires.
Athens Lindy hop

Mariangela and Nefeli brought lindy hop swing to Athens for the first time in May 2008. They continue to this day as “Athens Lindy Hop” teaching this unique dance from the 30s -’40 called lindy hop, and other related dances like the balboa, the shag, the blues and the 20’s charleston!
