The Meet Market is celebrating its Golden anniversary!
Yes indeed, it been 10 years and 100 Meet Markets since the very first time we came together with the idea to explore a new type of market, something nomadic and fresh, with well-made products & concepts, and alternative promotion, in a fun, lively, musical setting, open to all. And so it did just that, and began to grow, attracting more vendors and more visitors each time, establishing a monthly meeting point where creators and appreciators could get together and exchange, share their visions, test their ideas, sell their work, improve, evolve, and create yet another vessel for getting by in these challenging times.

Geppetto, the good Fairy and the Daryas-the-playfull-piggy will need your help to learn the value of truth in the well known performance of Pinocchio.
Come to Meet Market to search for lost treasures, catch flying balloons, become a little magician, dance and sing in one of the most interactive shows of the year.

For ages 4 and up.
Athens Disco Kidz, founded in 2016 in Athens and Thessaloniki, is a mobile party open to families with children of all ages (+4) who want to emphasize joint entertainment and fun. Together, kids and their parents have the opportunity to take part in musical-dance activities, group plays, choreographies, dance battles, and interactive projection games designed and coordinated by an experienced team of pedagogues, actors, dancers and visual designers.
Behind the decks will be Black Athena, a DJ duo, well-known for their radio show at Athens International Radio, and their club nights in Athens who specialize in all kinds of music-related adventures.
On Saturday March 31, the Ovens will transforms into a colorful dance floor, awaiting you and your family in a very festive spring mood!

Three timeless myths from different places and cultures (Venezuela, Africa and North America) are mingling with each other and becoming an adventure for all ages. The narrative storytelling gives us the opportunity, as soon as we finish playing with the themes and characters of the story, to transform into colorful birds, walking in the clouds and travelling into the colors of the rainbow.

Τα εργαστήρια eco weaving βασίζονται στη φιλοσοφία να έρθουν μεγάλοι και παιδιά σε επαφή με την υφαντική μέσα από ένα εύκολο και ευχάριστο τρόπο. Για υλικά και εργαλεία χρησιμοποιούμε πράγματα που έχουμε όλοι στα σπίτια μας: πιρούνια, καλαμάκια, παλιά ρούχα και κάλτσες, κουτά και άλλα και έτσι ανακυκλώνουμε ή επαναχρησιμοποιούμε τα αντικείμενα ενώ ταυτόχρονα δημιουργούμε κάτι όμορφο και χρήσιμο. Στο συγκεκριμένο εργαστήριο θα φτιάξουμε πολύχρωμα ανοιξιάτικα βραχιόλια με νήματα και καλαμάκια αναψυκτικών.
Το εργαστήριο ΕΡΓΑΝΗ δημιουργήθηκε από την Ελένη Παύλου και δραστηριοποιείται από το 1998 στον Πόρο.

“Yoga for Happy Kids” is a method of alternative exercise that has been created and implemented by Ariadne Oikonomidis, Yoga Instructor and Physical Educator & Sports Teacher. It is based on the body structure and the mental development of children. Her goal is to highlight the capabilities of each child through a fun and safe process. It includes recreational exercises (asanas) and interactive games.
Children who choose Yoga for Happy Kids learn to cultivate respect and love for themselves and others while at the same time strengthening their self-esteem and self-esteem, feeling more positive each and every day … happy kids!

Imaginary Rooms is back with full creative force, to show all our little friends how to make doodleArt and Graffiti! Come join us and get your creative juices going! The super target this time is to create 100 fantastic character portraits!
Doodle & Graffiti Art Workshop
Armed with a black marker, an A4 piece of paper and your spontaneity (of course), come and learn how to draw a fantastic portrait. Really, have you ever noticed how many different noses and ears exist? Which facial characteristics will inspire the workshop participants this time? Come and explore your faces and discover character design.
Imaginary Rooms is a creative studio founded by graphic designer/character designer Nadia Stasinou, and the architect/street artist Manolis Iliopoulos. Their goal is to convey “Inspiration to the Modern Family” through workshops, illustrations and murals.

Building D10 – “Purifier”
With the 4 elements that nature generously gives us (fire-water-wind-earth) , we improvise our own story about the adventures of a small rain drop that we see come to life with live painting. Afterwards, the temperature rises and we throw colorful fire like dragon while in the Indian village of stones, the little Indians with strange names dance without stopping. And of course there are games of wind that ebbs and flows. The different qualities of movements of the 4 elements come together in a key stone of theater and dance, while simultaneously connecting with the behavior of 4 different types of humans. So we could say that 4S is the first step to understanding and creating characters and roles. We bring the 4 elements of nature to life with our own interpretation.

The oh-so-talented Athens Lindy Hop is coming to the 100th Meet Market to initiate us all into the groove of swing dancing. They began back in 2008 and began to build the foundation of what is today the biggest swing dancing movement in Athens. Their goal is to teach us the beautiful, joyous and creative aspects of swing dancing, Charleston and Authentic Jazz Dance as well as other swing forms such as Shag, Balboa, Rock n’ Roll and Blue dance.
Nikos Mastixiadis and Myrto Papadopoulou will be live and direct a this Meet Market to show us all their moves! Open to everyone.

Conjoined Movement, a.k.a Move, are going to take over the Apothiki building at the 100th Meet Market on Saturday 31/03 and Sunday 01/04 with their craft of characters-meet-calligraphy graffiti, otherwise known as calligraffiti. Come witness the fitness of these guys doing live painting all weekend long!
