The most wonderful time of the year.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and ever so fittingly, we have decided to make the most wonderful Meet Market of all time. Join us this December, for 2 weekends of Christmas merriment featuring 150 plus stands of the most exquisite holiday goodies from local businesses, at the ever-so-impressive venue of the Athens Conservatoire, right in the heart of Athens. This year, you better make sure you visit us more than once, because depending on the day you come, you’ll find a different market. Indeed, we have so much to show you this Christmas, that the Meet Market will be curated in 2 parts: with one roster of vendors on one weekend (Saturday 14 & Sunday 15), and another lineup on the following weekend (Saturday 21 & Sunday the 22nd)! All in all, we will be showcasing over 150 brands, designers, collectors and small scale businesses in total, from all over Greece. We even have some businesses coming from abroad!
Plenty for the kids to do too!
Each and everyday we will have something going on to entertain our little friends, so don’t even think about leaving them behind. During the weekend, the Hellenic Children’s Museum will be open and ready to welcome you and your minions from 11:00 – 20:00, with interactive adventures, a super cool super-market, bubble games, drawing activities, educational crafts and a shoe-less room for our really tiny crawlers who can’t yet walk.

Street food n' tunes by DeBop will be there!
And the surprises don’t stop there … for the first time Street food n’ tunes by DeBop will have a guest appearance at the Meet Market, hosted by our beloved deBop team. Because we love their company and they will make sure that no one leaves hungry. So let yourself go in their experienced hands and try out from each and every the street stand that will bring with them!
DJ sets & Christmas give-aways!
Of course you can expect the glüwein to flow, just like the music does, with non-stop dj sets all week long, from our favorite festive djs. And of course you can expect to find plenty of free Christmas presents waiting for you at the “central info point/cashier” from cds to pins to 2020 calendars to our grand-prize raffle give-away… 3 mega baskets for 3 lucky winners, with a little something from each vendor inside. So there you have it. The most complete Christmas event in town. Be there.

This year, the Athens Children’s Museum in collaboration with Meet Market extends its opening hours so that more families with children between the ages of 3 and 12 can visit it with free entry, discover and play on its interactive exhibits…
“The Growth of Nutrition”, playing the roles of employees and customers in a unique grocery store,
“Bubbles”, by creating bubbles of different shapes and by experimenting with water,
“Build and create”, building their own building,
“Hi Pythagoras”, discovering geometric shapes,
“Grandpa’s and Grandma’s Home”, Traveling Back in Time & More.
While younger children 0-3 years old can play in the specially designed “Playground”.

Peristyle
The Paizontas team will be in a festive mood at the Athens Conservatoire this December for all the loyal friends of the Meet Market. Get ready for outdoor recreational and educational activities including Mega jenga, zip lining, slack line, cage climbing and much more. We invite all children to harmoniously combine fun game with experiential learning! And as we climb the trees we will decorate them with Christmas ornaments which we will make ourselves with each ornament being a wish for the new year!
