Just a few days before Easter...
The Meet Market is back this April 8th & 9th, at Technopolis, City of Athens! Get ready for the biggest celebration of creativity and innovation! Come witness the fitness of more than 140 talented designers, emerging artists and small producers, of which 30+ will be participating for the first time! Together they will gather, emerging from their stores and workshops, to come meet you live and direct under the red chimneys of Technopolis in Gazi.

Expect to find clothing and accessories designed with originality, home-decor items with a unique aesthetic, handmade jewelry made with love, wellness & “green” beauty products, packaged foods straight from the countryside, carefully selected children’s goodies and a whole lot more! All these exquisite creations will form the line-up of the contemporary pop-up market that is the Meet Market. There’s so much to see that we’re taking over all of Technopolis, and filling up the Central Courtyard, the Machine-Works Courtyard and the Machine-Works building in one glorious weekend of creativity!

Meanwhile, the DJ sets from our beloved sound-scapers will be changing hands every two hours and – as always – there will be loads of drinks, yummy street food, and free kids activities! And… a #tip for everyone who visits the Easter Meet Market: By visiting the Central Cashier/Info point of the event you will have the opportunity to take part in the #GrandRaffle from which 3 lucky winners will be selected just before closing, and each will receive a basket full of gifts from the all Meet Market makers!

Panagiotis Argyrakis of Fundastick Performing Arts will entertain kids and adults with his incredible juggling show and then fill the Meet Market with huge soap bubbles! Be there!

Let’s play Cinema! At first you would think we need scenery, characters, camera, microphone, headphones, and clapping…but what if we just took a book, an idea, a crazy story, a fantastic scenario in a surreal, dreamlike place? Let’s build our own pre-film visual games, decide our own setting, make our own characters, draw our favorite frame, create our own photo story, make our own storyboard and experiment with a variety of cinematic narrative modes. Let’s become the critical viewers, the little cinephiles and the creators of today and tomorrow. Let’s play Cinema!
