Our jazzy anniversary!
Yes indeed, we are back at the 22nd Athens Jazz! From Monday May 22nd till Sunday May 28, the Meet Market will be merging forces with Technopolis, City of Athens, as it does every year, and hosting one of our biggest annual celebrations under the red chimneys of Gazi with the legendary Athens Jazz Festival!
The perfect pair
For one who week, we’ll be taking over the Machine-works Venue & Courtyard, and filling them with Athens finest local creators and creations. Come stroll among the blue tents and get your groove on while you listen to the unique sounds of the Jazz concerts taking place in the Central Courtyard of Technopolis in parallel. Get ready for 7 days of Meet Market, 100 plus Makers and more than 25 new brands making their debut as they leave their shops and studios and gather together to share their unique brands, stories and love for #handmade products. From clothing, jewellery, accessories and home-deco items to wellness products, yummy food and goodies for kids and families, there’s plenty to find and its all #madeingreece.

Because we stand by our motto of First a meet – then a Market, we are will feature back-to-back DJ sets from our favorite Athenian sound-scapers, free interactive games for our little friends, as well as boozy cocktails and street food if you start to feel peckish! And of course, make sure to stop by at the central info/cash point to take part in our #grandprizeraffle where 3 lucky winners each win a huge basket filled with gifts from all our Makers.

Let’s play Cinema! Come join us in a friendly, creative and fun board game of discoveries through the history of the seventh art. We will share strange and special stories behind the creators of the cinema, trace the technological leaps of the moving image, be the critical viewers, the little cinephiles and the creators. The board game of Cinemathesis can be played by individual players and by groups of players! We are waiting for you to highlight the winners!

What happens when mountain & river guides, climbers, teachers, artists, outdoor educators and scouts meet at the Meet Market? Well..that’s when the fun begins! Outdoor recreational and educational activities such as mega jenga, slack line and box harmoniously combine experiential learning with fun games!
