The pieces might differ in size , shape and color as every piece is unique and handmade by me.
For each object, there are used different techniques such as coil – building, slab building and wheel throwing. No molds are used and each object has its own style!
All ceramic materials are lead free and food safe.
Tips
We want you to use and love your handmade pottery pieces for as many years as possible! Our pottery is designed to be hearty and strong, but a few tips will help it to last even longer.
Washing ceramics by hand is much more beneficial to ensure the longevity than using a dishwasher. As all ceramics are fired at 1240°C, they are very strong and durable and they could possibly be washed in the dishwasher, but I do not recommend it, as dishwashers require the use of strong detergents that could harm the shine of the glaze.
It is also good to avoid extreme, sudden temperature changes, as it is likely to cause thermal shock to the ceramic pieces and lead to potential cracks and breakages. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth ( a warm surface)
Leaving the functional objects, such as bowls, plates, cups etc, with vinegar , wine and lemon , is not a good idea because this might cause a change in color.
