Description

❥Listing details:
-one stoneware handmade platter
-free hand painted in a unique floral design
-built exclusively by hand using the slab technique
-created with beige speckled stoneware, various color underglazes and a transparent glossy glaze
-hand glazed and fired twice in our electric pottery kiln reaching 1200°C
-all my work is hand signed

❥Dimensions are irregular due to the handmade process, therefore stated measurements are an approximate:
-diameter is about: 35-36cm/13.7-14.2"
-height is about: 4-6cm/1.5-2.3"
-thickness is about: 0.4-0.5cm/0.1-0.2"

Tips

I use good quality clay, both earthenware and stoneware, and fire my ceramics at the highest temperatures to make sure they are as strong as possible. However handmade ceramic items are fragile by nature so please handle them with care.

Hand washing is recommended: although all earthenware, stoneware and porcelain items are dishwasher and microwave safe, unless specified otherwise in an item's description.

Avoid thermal shock: never place a hot ceramic item on a cold surface or vice versa.
